Hi, I'm Vandana - and yoga changed my life

My relationship with yoga began early, when I was 18, long before it became a global trend. What started as curiosity slowly became something I kept returning to.

Over time, I pursued formal training in traditional Hatha yoga, along with studies in movement and nutrition. It gave me a deeper understanding of the body, not just how it moves, but how it responds, adapts, and heals.

But like many people, life shifted.
My own practice took a back seat for a while.

And that experience changed how I see yoga today.

That’s also what led me to create Slow N Steady Yoga.

I wanted to offer a way of practicing that feels calm, guided, and something you can actually stay with.

My approach

For me, true wellbeing isn’t just about movement.

It’s about understanding the whole person, how we breathe, how we move, and how we care for ourselves.

Yoga, movement, and awareness are not separate.
They work together to help you feel more balanced, more present, and more at ease in your body.

In my classes, the focus is not on intensity or perfection.
It’s on building a practice that feels steady, guided, and sustainable.

You’ll move with your breath, transition slowly, and be guided throughout, without pressure to keep up or push further.

My Credentials

I trained at two of India's most respected yoga institutions, and later deepened that foundation with formal studies in physical education and nutrition.
